Linux Projects

• Gnome MPlayer - a GTK based user interface for MPlayer that follows the Gnome HIG
• Fosfor - a Clutter/Gstreamer based media player
• Gecko MediaPlayer - a Firefox browser plugin that can use Gnome Mplayer or Fosfor to playback webmedia. (Gnome MPlayer is strongly recommended over Fosfor due to it having more features)
• Nailer aka MPlayer Video Thumbnailer - a helper application for Nautilus that generates thumbnails of video files, but can be used as a standalone application as well
• mplayerplug-in - an older media plugin for Firefox, that is no longer actively developed
